1. Where does the bus travel in Alberta?
Elk Point, St. Paul, Saddle Lake, Ashmont, Goodfish Lake, Vilna, Smokey Lake, Edmonton and International Airport.
2. If I miss my coach can I take another one?
No immediate alternative until the next day. No refund shall be made on event that passenger misses his Bus due to no show or lateness. All passengers must arrive for boarding at least 30 minutes before departure
3. Can I cancel my trip and get a full refund?
Advance purchase discount fares, or any other fares so designated as special sales are non-refundable. Unused one-way and return trip tickets will have a refund value equal to the fare paid by the passenger upon a day notice for cancellation. Return trip tickets in which the return portion is unused will have a refund value less the amount for one-way trip. Tickets may be refunded with the original form of payment at the location at which the ticket was sold. Refundable tickets will be refunded by Simbrex Lakeland Connect to the original purchaser only. Valid photo identification must be presented. Tickets are refundable for the period of one year from the date of purchase. Tickets submitted for refund after this time period would have no refund value. Date of issue is determined by the date of purchase as printed on the original (not reissued) ticket.
4. Do I need ID when traveling on the coach?
You may need to confirm that you are the real owner of the Ticket you hold, should the driver suspect a foul play you will be requested to identify yourself before you are allowed to board.
5. What is the minimum age that a child can travel alone?
Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by someone age 15 years or older. You must be eight years old to be able to travel alone.
6. Do I have to book my trip in advance?
It is advised that you book your trip at least a day before to guarantee you a seat. Otherwise you will only be allowed on to the coach if there is available an seat.
7. How far in advance should I arrive before departure?
30 minutes
8. If I need a ticket at the last minute can I pay the driver cash?
Yes, but you must confirm that there is available sit before cash payment is made to the driver.
9. Can my child sit on my lap?
Children must have their sit except nursing babies. 15% discount is allowed for all children under age 5 years
10. Can I bring a car seat on board?
There is no space for a car sit on board.
11. Are pets allowed on the coach?
No pets are allowed on board.
12. How many pieces of luggage can I have?
For passengers traveling on Simbrex Lakeland Connect schedules, one (1) piece of baggage not exceeding 20 kg will be free for each adult and child. One (1) additional piece of baggage can be accepted for a charge of $5.00 per kg for adults only. One (1) small bag, up to 10kg, plus one personal item (purse, handbag, etc) can be taken aboard for each adult or child. Carryon bags must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
13. What are baggage liability restrictions?
Carriers will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to baggage in excess of the value allowances. Carrier will only be responsible to the extent of the actual loss or damage sustained based on the actual baggage at the time and place of checking. The maximum liability to Simbrex Lakeland Connect is $250 for all baggage accepted (not including baggage checked as overweight, oversized, or excess baggage) per adult ticket and $125 per child’s ticket. For items accepted as overweight, oversized or excess baggage the maximum liability is $100. Any pieces with a declared value greater than outlined above must be shipped through Lakeland Connect Cargo Express. Passengers may also insure their baggage (not including items accepted as overweight, oversized or excess baggage) up to a maximum of $1000 per passenger ticket as detailed in the table below.

Overweight, oversized, or excess baggage declared value charge

No carrier will accept responsibility for damage, breakage, deterioration, delay and/or loss of any prohibited article or any article not specifically defined as acceptable in baggage service or for damage, breakage, deterioration, delay, and/or loss caused by such unauthorized articles to other baggage belonging to the same passenger. Carriers will NOT accept any liability for unchecked baggage. Except as responsibility may be imposed by law, carriers will not be liable for delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, bad conditions of the road, storms and other conditions beyond the carriers' control, and the delivery of baggage under instructions of the passenger, baggage owner or representative to a non-agency destination or at an agency point that does not accept incoming baggage, after such property has been left at such station or non-agency destination.
14. If I require a wheelchair or a scooter can I travel on the bus?
Our Bus does not support the use of Wheelchair or scooter. This may change in future with increase in our fleet
